Beer-Specific Conditions
Legal Requirements

You must be 21 years of age or older, to order or receive alcoholic beverages from Packmule.  Receipt of shipments containing alcoholic beverages requires the signature of a sober adult (a person 21 years of age or older who is not intoxicated). We highly recommend having your items shipped to a business to avoid any potential delays.  Beers purchased from Packmule are not for resale, and are for personal consumption only.

Credit Card Charges

Online orders are by credit card only. We accept Visa, MasterCard, Discover and American Express.

Minimum Purchase

No minimum purchase is required.

States Authorized for Direct Shipment

Due to the ever-changing nature of alcohol shipping laws, we may be able to ship beer, directly or indirectly, to all states except Arkansas, Connecticut, Delaware, Kentucky, Mississippi, New Jersey, Rhode Island, South Carolina, Utah, Vermont and West Virginia.

We are currently only shipping to Washington state.  If you want to see if we can ship to your state, contact us

Shipping Costs

We offer shipping via UPS Ground.  Delivery times for these methods are governed by the carrier.  NOTE: Orders for shipping are only processed once per week. If you require faster delivery, please notify us.  If we can accomidate your request, there may be a fee associated with it.  Beacuse the beer is often pre-sold (meaning it has yet to be packaged or picked up), we wont always be able to accomidate your requests.

Due to fluctuations in UPS rates the shipping charges on your invoice are an approximation only. There may be an adjustment necessary based upon actual UPS charges. Also, a fee for UPS required packaging will be seen on your invoice.

Beer is a Delicate Commodity

Packmule maintains, as much as possible, a cold chain from the brewer to the consumer.  This is especially true should you choose fulfillment at one of our beer drops.  When shipping is involved, though, the cold chain breaks once the product is handed from Packmule to UPS.

Beer is a perishable commodity. Beerdoes not like extremes of temperature: hot humid summer and cold winter weather may adversely affect the condition of your beer during shipment.  During the month of January, February, June, July, August and December; we prefer to ship beer traveling longer than 1-2 days only on Mondays to avoid beer sitting in an uncontrolled climate over the weekend. *If you do not wish to wait for moderate temperatures and have your wines shipped immediately, Packmule accepts no responsibillity to wines damaged by extreme temperatures.  When your beer order is picked up by the common carrier for delivery, responsibility for the beer becomes the responsibility of the purchaser.
